2020 Kia Soul vs 2019 Kia Soul

Green 2020 Kia Soul set against white 2019 Kia Soul

The Soul is one of the most beloved vehicles in the Kia model lineup. It is one of the most recognizable vehicles on the road with its boxy shape. That unique shape has not disappeared over the years with occasional updates and redesigns. And speaking of redesigns, Kia took the Soul back to the drawing board and gave it some substantial updates for 2020. To help you get a closer look at the updates – and to help you decide which model year you should purchase – we have created a comparison that places the 2020 edition of the Kia Soul against the 2019 model.

What's New for the 2020 Kia Soul?

As you can see in the comparison photo, the 2020 Kia Soul has a new front end that is sleeker and ready to take on the new Roaring 20s era. It also comes with a new palette of color options that make us think of The Great Gatsby while staying in tune with the current zeitgeist and upcoming trends. Color choices include:

  • Solar Yellow

  • Mars Orange

  • Inferno Red

  • Neptune Blue

  • Undercover Green

  • Platinum Gold

  • Sparkling Silver

  • Gravity Gray

  • Snow White Pearl

Another major change is the increase of available trim options for 2020. That means you are more likely to get the perfect number of features for your lifestyle and budget! Most of the trims are outfitted with the longtime favorite 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder engine, while the GT-Line Turbo trim comes with the thrilling turbocharged 1.6L DOHC 4-cylinder engine. The conventional 1.6L DOHC 4-cylinder engine was dropped for 2020.

While we love the 2020 Kia Soul and 2019 Kia Soul equally, we want you to drive away happy and confident in your choice, so we invite you to visit us here at Lehighton Kia to take a closer look at both models and to take them out for a test drive!
