2021 Kia Sportage Lehighton PA
The Kia Sportage has been around since all the way back in 1993. Back when it was first introduced, it was a traditional SUV as crossovers weren’t even a thing yet, that’s how long the Sportage has been around. It switched to being a crossover at the beginning of its second generation, which kicked off for the 2005 model year. Since then, it’s gone through two additional generational shifts and is now – presumably – nearing the end of its fourth and current generation. The 2021 Kia Sportage is currently available right here in Lehighton PA, and even received a few updates for the new model year.

Not a ton has changed for the new model year, in fact the LX, EX and SX Turbo trim levels are all identical to last year’s versions. However, the S trim level is dropping its Sunroof and Premium packages and replacing them with its own Nightfall Edition and Nightfall Edition Premium variants. Each of these variants features piano black trim pieces on areas of the vehicle’s exterior, such as the front bumper, side sills, skid plates and even the fog lights. They also receive exclusive rear lift gate badging and a set of unique 18” alloy wheels with blacked-out center caps.
While that might be all that’s new for 2021, that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty else about which to get excited. For example, there are two different powertrain options from which to choose. Standard, the Sportage comes powered by a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine that can generate 181 horsepower alongside 175 pound-feet of torque but upgrading to the 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder option boosts that power output to a much more impressive 240 hp and 260 lb-ft. of torque.
The Sportage also offers plenty of great content inside and out, plus an abundance of space to fill with whatever you need to bring on the road with you.
